Ferociousness.

So awhile back, I headed over to the Mission in order to do some real thrift shopping. I have of course gone thrifting in the normal areas like the Haight at Wasteland and even on Fillmore at Crossroads (they always have great designer finds there from that rich Pac Heights crowd). However, I had never really done any real, roll-up your sleeves thrifting. Ergo the Mission...
Why I had that build-up? I don't really know why. Because I didn't even make it to the real thrifting in the Mission (which is apparently Thrifttown). We started and ended with...Buffalo. Nonetheless we had a good amount of fun trying on the coats and sweaters. In the end, I spent far too much $$ as usual...

I was searching for the perfect ridiculous sweater. These were ok...Well, actually we weren't that big of fans of the green one. There were also some christmas ones that were pretty funny and ridiculous but not ridiculous ENOUGH to not be taken seriously...you know? It's a special art choosing perfect ridiculous sweater....I didn't buy any of them. Therefore, I'm still on the search.

Here I present with you the Love of My Life. It was incredible. amazing. It blew my mind, which is clear by the expression on my face.

Of course I had to try on the love of my life. While making animal/ferocious amazingness faces.

I then tried it on forrelz. I actually thought I looked quite cute. I really really really really wanted a 90's themed party. Couldn't you imagine my outfit perfectly with a red cup? Hell yea...
Sadly, my friends didn't convince me well enough to buy it. All I could wonder was, Would I really wear this? When? I mean in a more general sense my school isn't very welcoming of other fashion senses. The student body in general just wears jeans and sweatshirt or something along those lines. So I already feel funny wearing heeled boots. I showed these pictures to one of my friends and she told me she would no longer be my friend if I wore that with her. So I didn't buy the jacket. I regret this decision everyday.

PS. A bit later I went to a see Raj Patel speak at the World Affairs Council...The girl that sat in front of me. You would NEVER believe what she was wearing. She was wearing my jacket (you know the one I didn't buy above but still claim to be my own) but BETTER. Hers had ROSES ON IT!

Yes, it's less ferocious but I feel more acceptable by the average individual. Not everyone can be as cool as me. I'm just kidding.
